Primary election time

In preparation for the election, equipment operators have been busy making sure everything is in place for the thousands of local voters who will be casting their ballots. There are 35 precincts in Buchanan county. Election judges also spent the day training for Tuesday.

Pat Conway, Buchanan County Clerk, says there will be 235 election judges at all locations making sure everything goes smoothly.

Despite the hot temperatures, Conway says he expects nearly 15-thousand tomorrow.a 30% turnout. Polls open at 6 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.

Voters will need a form of identification such as a drivers license or a blue voter i.d card.
