Missouri Western freshmen and transfer students were welcomed to campus Wednesday, griffon style.
For many students this is their first time living on their own. Griffon Edge kicked off Wednesday at the Missouri Western Campus. Griffon Edge is a one credit class for any freshman or transfer student.
For the next couple of days students participating in the class will get a chance to learn a little more about Missouri Western and all the programs and organizations they have to offer. Students will listen to different speakers and even take a tour of the campus where they will be allowed to find all of their classes. Griffon Edge Supervisor Kendra Myers said the class is a great introduction for new students.
To finish off the week Griffon Edge students will participate in a community service project this Saturday.
