Well, we had it really, really, really rough yesterday. We had to climb some sea-level up to 8,000 ft.
The first 30 miles were all bike trails, but the rest of the miles were all up hill. At one point it took us 5 hours to go 20 miles.
In the words of my buddy Danny, he said "it's the hardest 100 miles I've ever done."
We ended up sleeping on a porch last night because we couldn't find any hotels at the top of the pass.
Good news though, we're making good time today. We've had some good tail winds and have already gone 90 miles. We're trying to get 60 more.
It's about 101 degrees here in NV right now so we're trying to keep up on our fluids and salts.
Hopefully I'll have another update for you soon
