Andrew County Flood Victims Receive Funding
by Sarah Lawson
Tuesday, July 1, 2008

Andrew County will receive money to help with clean up as a result of the June flooding.

Governor Matt Blunt announced Tuesday 10 Missouri counties have been approved for federal assistance to help officials begin repairing flood damaged infrastructure.

Blunt said this program was added to the existing disaster declaration as a result of information obtained by the joint assessment teams.

Blunt said these teams will continue assessing damage to other areas in Missouri affected by flooding.
