Blunt signs gun legislation
by Angela Smith
Thursday, June 26, 2008

In response to the Supreme Court ruling, Governor Matt Blunt reaffirmed Missouri's support for the Second Amendment Thursday. Blunt signed House Bill 2034, that provides civil immunity for owners and authorized users of firearm ranges. It also provides civil and criminal liability protection for owners and users of hunting preserves, among other things.

Blunt said he is pleased to sign legislation that will protect the Second Amendment and Missourians' right to bear arms.
