Sprint may be opening store

Sprint appears to be opening another store in St. Joseph.

A building permit was submitted to the city for a tenant finish at 5403 N. Belt Highway. The tenant was listed as Sprint with a cost of $50,000.

The new building will most likely pop up just north of Buffalo Wild Wings and Famous Dave’s BBQ at the new Shoppes at North Village.

According to a customer service representative at city hall, Harmon Construction is set to construct a new shell for the business.

Sprint operates a store on the Belt Highway near Hy-Vee.
