A 43-year-old woman suffered serious injuries when her vehicle drove off the south side of a private drive and struck a fence early Friday night, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Andrea Koehler, of Rock Port, Mo., was taken by ambulance to Heartland Regional Medical Center after her 1991 Buick became airborne and overturned after striking a fence.

The Buick’s passenger, Scott Wacker, 38, of Rock Port, also suffered serious injuries and was taken by LifeNet to Heartland. Both remained at Heartland Saturday afternoon.

Charges are pending.
