Yes the city sent the notice to the wrong person, so they cancelled the citation and he is not in trouble nor does he have to pay for that. He does have to pay for his cleanup and should have done so. The city was VERY clear when they said they would not pick up brush cut up and moved by contractors. So he should have had then haul it off instead of just moving it around.

Since he has owned the land for 40 years he should know the rules and regulations that govern that property. None of this is new and he is responsible for his land. I might have a different view if this was a poor elderly person whose yard got away from him due to his age. This person however lives in another town and bought a half a city block to put up apartments. This article doesn't say why he never built them, but that doesn't give him the right to leave brush piles laying around just as no one else in the city can.

Hey Henry enough of that talk! Don't rub our faces in your Geno's Cheesecake unless you brought some back for everyone.

I just think this whole deal is ridiculous. It doesn't matter if it was him or not, it won't change anything if it is proven. I am sure it was him but he isn't going anywhwere and the News Press broke their promise of anonymity and their privacy policy when they allowed a reporter to talk about it.

Heritage and APM I will give you this, when the NP allowed this to get started they should have gone all out or not said anything. The fact that they allowed this to get started in the first place shouldn't have happened, but if they did that they might as well give everyone the proof they have and get it over with.

I'm no Vince fan, but everyone is wasting their breath getting so excited over it that we are talking about lawsuits and swearing under oath. Enough from me, back to the "debate".

So it just would have made you feel better? That's not really making a difference just like I said.

I still think everyone is getting their panties in a bunch over nothing. Even if he had stood on the steps of city hall and said these things would it have made a difference? The News Press doesn't owe anyone anything except maybe an apology for investigating an anonymous poster after promising that anonymity.

Who cares?? The News Press should not have done this story in the first place. They have a privacy policy that they failed to follow by allowing the reporter to write the story. Besides what does it matter. He can post what he wants as lomg as he is not divulging confidential information. Let it go.

MichaelH What are you talking about? What does the fact that a Young person volunteers for a campaign have to do with the Electoral College? Do you think it is an actual College? The Electoral College is in place only so smaller states won't be ignored by the candidates. I have no idea what you are saying here. Maybe I missed part of the story, but I don't see anything about the Electoral College, maybe you could explain that to the rest of us.

Based on your other postings including the second one for this story I can only assume that you are not going to vote, but you are just going to take potshots at everyone. No reason to pick on someone because they are making an effort. Maybe you should try it.

Seriously? She was under the influence. I would hope that would not just result in a citation. Especially when hitting a school bus!
