I feel sorry for anyone who has to live new lifeline foods. The smell coming from the Ethanol plant is aweful. I cannot imagine anyone would consider living in these proposed new apts.

My problem with trails west is that I live close to the park and if I leave to run errands on trails west weekend, when I come home, I have no parking. Why can't the city put up temporary/resident parking only signs on the streets around the area so residents can park in front of their own home. I know I can't be the only resident with this problem. Come on City of Saint Joe, help us out.
I will so be glad when the 4th is over. Fireworks go on sale and that is the day they begin to be set off. All day and all night. Are there no laws about fireworks here in St. joe? bottle rockets, cherry bombs and such all day and all night for days and days. I thought independence day was the 4th of July not the last week of June through the 10th of July. Are there no laws in St. Joe. And what about disturbing the peace after 10 at night? Are there no laws in St. Joe? I will be glad when it is over....

I would like to know why the only hospital in this city will not and I repeat WILL NOT set a broken bone on a child? A child was brought into their emergency room and was turned away and told to go to childrens mercy in Kansas city. Why on earth can't such a large hospital set a broken bone on a child? I am new to this town and I got to talking to people born and raised here. The answer was the same from all of them, "I don't know but that it has always been. They don't set broken bones on kids" I simply do not understand why. Does anyone know why? It seems just plain stupid. A screaming child comes into the emergency room and they are told, Sorry, but you have to remain in pain until your folks can drive you all the way to Kansas city and then wait some more until they can finally help you. Just plain dumb.

Open to the public does not mean ,open to hotel residents lithoguy. It means open to anyone who desides one morning to get up and go the Ramada inn to swim. Why would they build such a nice place and gear it mostly to "visitors to the area". What about the kids who live in the area? Like Devinbroncs said, We all already have a place to sleep. Why should we have to pay for a hotel room just so we can take our kids to the newest place in town. Come on you guys at the Ramada Inn, open up to the public.

How about bringing a Stater Bros to town. More competition is a good thing for consumers.
