I hope Obama focuses his attention on Palin. He forgets that he is not running against her, but her boss McCain. VPs are perfect for being the attack dogs. That will allow McCain to get his message out and keep Obama on the defensive with Palin.
I find it amusing that the liberal Dems can't stand that a woman can be a pro-life mother of 5, a hunter, a civil servant, a chief executive of a state and still speak eloquently and with humor. Palin breaks the mold on feminism in this country. NOW and the other supposed "women's rights" groups can't take that one of their gender won't tow the liberal line. I wholeheartedly support Palin as VP and I will work hard to get her and McCain into the White House.

StjoeMo, are you even watching the news anymore? The Anbar district was recently handed over to the Iraqi military and Gen. Patreus has stated that we may be handing Baghdad over by next Summer. That is clear and compelling evidence that the surge worked and we will soon be out of Iraq based on conditions on the ground and not some pre-determined timetable of defeat that Obama and the Dems have supported for years. The Iraqi government is stepping up and taking ownership of their country and as they do that we will stand down. That has been the plan for years now and it's coming to fruition because McCain and Bush did not listen to the libbie left who believed it was more important to surrender than to win.

What "initiative" has Obama shown? He didn't support the surge that has now turned the tide in Iraq. He wanted to pull our troops out regardless of what the Generals in Iraq were telling us. He wasn't willing to listen to the experts about Iraq, but he did pander to the radical left who wanted surrender over victory. What makes anyone think he will listen to the experts over Russia, Iran, China, N. Korea? Obama believes that words alone can stop missiles and bullets. He doesn't want to speak softly and carry a big stick. He wants to speak eloquently and carry a flower. Our country will suffer greatly because of his arrogance and lack of experience.

lovingittogether, Obama stated that his mother had him when she was 18. That means she could have been 17 when she was pregnant with him. Would it have been better if she had made the "choice" to abort him?

Palin has executive experience where Obama has legislative experience. Obama can vote "Present" on a majority of votes so he doesn't take a side, but Palin actually has to make decisions real-time that affect a whole state of people. Palin has more executive experience than any of the candidates on either side. It's not like Hillary Clinton had any experience in foreign relations or executive decision-making.
I love how the Hillary fans that wanted a woman in the White House were content on her, but Palin is considered less of a woman because she has young children and a salt of the earth husband. Very hypocritical on the "feminists" part.

BTW, Israel will probably attack the nuke facilities in Iran within the next few months before the Russian-supplied anti-missile system that Iran ordered is full in place. The Russians and Iran are conspiring to destroy Israel, but we shouldn't expect Israel to defend themselves, should we???
Obama stated in the video link I provided that he will dismantle the missile defense system and disarm our nuclear arsenal. I guess he plans on fighting the Russians with strong words of admonishment and UN mandates? Oh, that's right, Russia has veto rights in the UN. There goes that plan. I guess we're left with empty promises of HopenChange.
This country will be much weaker and open to attack if Obama is elected. It has nothing to do with his funny name or his background as a Muslim. It has to do with his complete lack of international policy understanding and intestinal fortitude.

With what's happening in Russia and the ME, we cannot afford for Obama to disarm our country. Our military is made up of men and women who serve to defend our nation against those who want to destroy us. Obama only serves the radical left who want to use speeches and empty gestures to placate our enemies to achieve world peace. God help this country if Obama is elected in November. Socialized health care and free education for all will not be worth it if our major cities are smoldering, nuclear wastelands.
