I have a question and maybe some can answer it for me. But why are the streets in Stonecrest being plowed when some streets that have much more traffic and are along a major traffic route not being plowed? And if the streets in Stonecrest are going to be plowed so soon after a storm then why not Deer Park or any other neighborhoods?

I live near you Devin and thankfully we only lost power for a few hours the first day and then after that we cranked our heat up to 85 which worked out good because our power went out that night for the whole night. Luckily our house stayed warm since we had a one month old baby then and there was no way we could have been able to stay in our home without heat for any longer than it was out.

Our neighbors across the street were without power for over a week. It was quite an experience and one I hope we never have to deal again.

I feel the same as you do, ADK. They shot out the window of my husband's car he drives to work and now we have to tell our family members that we can't buy them gifts because we have to replace a car window that these punks shot out.

They are horrible people and their parents are just as bad. I don't care what anyone says, but if the parents would have done a halfway decent job of raising these worthless punks then they wouldn't have done this. I was young and did some stupid things but never once did it cross my mind go out and damage some one else's property.

I HATE these kids. I hope they only have horrible things happen to them for the rest of their lives, it's what they deserve.

I just wonder why they are only charged with two counts each? I know for a fact that just on my street alone these punks shot out over 20 vehicle windows including my own.

I hope they are given some jail time and made to pay restitution for each and every window they thought it was funny to shoot out. Maybe that would be a way to get through to them is to hit them in the pocket.

These kids are punks and their parents are just as worthless. And if any of them are underage then maybe their parents should be made to pay their portion of the restitution.

I was crying tears of joy last night when Obama gave his speech. I didn't want to celebrate too early but after McCain gave his speech, I couldn't help myself.

I volunteered many, many hours of my time to the Obama campaign here in St. Joe and it makes me so proud to know that I was part of helping change history.

I have never volunteered for a candiate but I felt so strongly about Obama that I had to do my part to make sure he was our next President.

I have voted in every election since I turned 18 and this is the most important election I have ever voted in.

I was there as well and they had the event in the small gym at the Looney Complex, not in the Fieldhouse, like I am sure some people are thinking. It was filled and it was an energetic crowd. It was great. I luckily had my ticket held for me since I am a volunteer. I sat right next to where he came in and out and actually got some great pictures and even a couple of him with my kids.

It was a once in a lifetime chance.

Mall Suggestion, the owners of the mall would just rather make breastfeeding mothers either sit out in the open with a bunch of teens jumping on the nice leather furniture they put for people to sit on or make us go hide in a stores dressing rooms. I do agree that there needs to be something done for breastfeeding mothers, a room like you described would be nice and I have been places that have a nursing mothers room. In fact, I love going to Silver Dollar City because they have several nursing stations throughout the park that are just like you described.

And if you have a baby like mine that doesn't like a blanket to cover her and if there is much going on around her, won't eat then a nursing room is ideal. I would completely support something like that!

So the owners of the mall aren't going to have to pay any of the TIF back? So the taxpayers are going to take it both ways on this deal? First it's our tax money that was given to the mall to do this and then we are going to have to pay a higher sales tax if we shop there, well that hardly seems fair.

I do think that Bristol Palin getting pregnant is a HUGE flaw against Sarah Palin. If she would have taught her daughter to practice safe sex and given her the knowledge about what her different options were instead of only preaching abstinence then the outcome might have been different. Her boyfriend would have gotten what he wanted, they would have broken up and Sarah Palin wouldn't be forcing her daughter and the boy into marriage just to make it all nicey, nice for the rest of the Pubs.

If people would take the time and actually read and comprehend things they would notice that I said that most of the births at Heartland are to mothers on Medicaid. Then in a seperate rant, said that I cannot believe they allow anyone, regardless of marital status, to leave the hospital with a newborn without so much as a quiz, some sort of lesson in basic infant care or anything.
