Again another enjoyable story, with a quirky twist, but so much of the truth. Keep them coming and enjoy your Holidays.

Wow MichealH, what a reach to take such an awful event into a completely different political arguement.

I am ashamed this happened in our home town. And would of liked to know if anything happened to the Sheriff for such a poor and unlawful decision.

To the Real Cause, It was many factors that lead us to where we are today, the biggest being no one was looking out for the future effect. There were plenty of signs, but as usual 20/20 vision comes when looking backwards and reviewing the mistakes. I for one do start with the gas prices it was the most obvious sign. It effects the economy in every aspect, from main street to wall street.
I remember clearly the news economic reporters saying, they were shocked the american people were not revolting when gas got around $3.00 a gallon. Upon telling my banker this, I said to give it 2 years. People where putting the gas on credit cards or the saying, robbing Peter to pay Paul. Sooner or later that kind of spending hits a dead end. This was going on from main street to wall street, and here we are today.

The city codes follows the 1999 food and drug administrations food code, so the county doesn't follow the same code?

I've got my money on they follow the same code but do not have the same powers. In other words can't shut them down.

Could someone from the city please explain why Ms Costen was inspecting a restaurant outside the city limits? I could understand if at first she made a mistake and thought it was in the city limits. But to continue to go back, without authority is confusing.

Correct she can do whatever she wants with her building. However do cry foul! If she had such a political opinion why would she have rented to the republican headquarters?

Please, this women was half owner of the building. She knew up front that she was renting to the republican headquarters. By putting up the democratic signs on a building for the republicans, she started the high school antics. I call poor form on both parties involved.

Mr. Shearin
Thank you for bringing attention to the industrial park's issue and trying to get them some help. We have few manufacture plants left that employee alot of people. Their road is a disaster and so is the one down by Siligan in the south end. We need to assist in any way possible to insure their continued employment, in a declining economy.
