I'm glad that the News-Press is publishing these reports. There are several places I probably won't eat at again. Why should I risk my health or the health of my family eating at these restaurants.

The worst part about widespread vandalism IS the payback. In the last case I saw (of course it involved juveniles), they set an amount to be paid back by each juvenile weekly and then divided that amount (say $25/week each) by ALL victims. So you might be receiving a payment of like $4 a week..that takes a longggg time to be paid off.

I wonder if this is the guy who used to spend a lot of time in the South Belt Walmart/Taco Bell area. The poor guy tries to fight with people that aren't there..it's very sad.

Azmaggie--I used to do the Christmas Club at Farmer's State until this past year and now it's no longer available.
Goetz Credit Union is starting for this next Christmas if you'd like to go down there and get one started ( I will be). It sure makes the Christmas shopping a little easier.

I would just like to say that I walked several blocks to school my entire elementary school career and never complained. I should also point out that I'm in my very early 20's. I never walked by myself but walked with a group of neighborhood kids. Kids these days are lazy and so are their parents. My neighbor drops her child off down the street because he's too lazy to walk. I understand the fact that they don't have a car but why is it such a big deal to walk?
