No one knows what happenend for sure, and yes I believe her name should be in the obiturary. The news doesnt know everything that is going on, I am sure the police is holding some information back since they are still investigating. I dont know her, but maybe it went off accidently, even if it was not an accident, family is always the last to know if there is something wrong in a marriage. I just hope the family that has those children do not hurt the children more, by blaming the mother, or saying bad stuff about the mother, it will not help anyone. You may not think that they understand, but believe me they do, they loved both parents, and this is a tagedy for everyone but especially the children. My thoughts and prayers go out to both sides of the family and especially the children.
On Woman charged in husband's death
bearie04, if you would of read everything, you would of seen where I did pay Heartland everymonth. I could only work part time because my husband was off work for a year, Heartland got over $80,000 from my insurance, I was paying on the $2000 deductible, I was never late and I paid what was agreed on, after a year, they turn you over to those vultures and since they are owned by heartland you would think they would take the same payments that they did, but they wont. All they do is call you and send you nasty letters. And when I did borrow the money to pay the bill off from my current husband, they tried to make me pay some bills from what my 1st husband owed on, that he incurred after we were married. I had to get a lawyer to call and tell them I was not responsible, he incurred it after the divorce.

Dondill you are wrong, I never tried to get out of paying them, I did everything I could to pay them, and then after a year they turned me over to northwest who would not accept the same payments, they wanted it all. There are a lot of people out there that try to pay what they can, and with northwest it is all or over half your check or they sue you.

heartland only accepts payments for a year, I made arrangements with them for $100 a month on a $2000 bill. They told me if it was not paid off in 12 months the remaining balance would be turned over to NW. So I paid extra when I could. When the 12 months was up, I had like $500 left, and sure enough the next statement wasnt from Heartland but from NW saying I had been turned over to them. They would not accept the same $100 payment, they wanted it all in full. I was only working part time, and my husband was still off work due to injury. I finally just borrowed it from a family member to pay them off so I would not get a letter every week or a phone call every day. And before someone ask, I was never late, I had it automatically sent from my bank each month to make sure it got there on time.

Just because they only said she was cited for careless driving does not mean she didnt receive the other tickets. Yes there is a law that you cant have cigerettes if you are under 18, funny they cant buy them, but once they turn 17 they are legally considered an adult.

heritage, I never said we didnt get 3 days off for the death of a family member, I am saying that she says that the city council sends flowers to ALL employees who loses a parent or in law or member as described in what they define as family. I never received flowers or even a card for any of my family members from the city council, and other employees havent either. So she shouldnt be saying they do it for all employess, to justify that as the reason she sent them for her father in laws death. She should just admit she made a mistake sending the flowers.
On City's desk saga becomes cluttered
I work for the city and the city council does not buy flowers for everyone who has lost a parent, sibling or grandparent, let alone an inlaw. I have lost a parent and a father in law and I never received flowers for either. Of course I dont work at city hall, so it must just be those employees at city hall that receive them. Never even received a card, or a sorry about your loss.

heritage, why does it matter if he hit anything or not, and maybe he shot in the air to scare the guy so the guy wouldnt run over him. I know officer Herrera, and he is a good officer and a good person. He will talk to you if you stop him and will help you if you need it. What about this 21 yr old that was drunk and tried to run the officer over, and do you know why the officers were on that street, they were there protecting a family that the suspect threatend to kill. They stood in front of this house and told the residents to stay inside, even though the suspect told the victims he had a gun. I know a lot of people think that officers dont do their job or get paid to much, but like this situation, there are times when officers could get hurt. We should be thankful for the officers. What would of happend had they not been on the street, or the truck didnt miss hitting the officer. Would he have gotten to the victim and shot her like he said he was going to. Was the officer injured no, but he could of been.

I agree, I someone at the house and there were over 20 children given summons for possession of alcohol, you gonna tell me that many children in his house and he is not going to check on them or see the alcohol
On Prosecutor won't file charges against doctor
I don't see where anyone was dogging the family, but just asking a question. Why weren't the other mothers charged. According to the article in todays paper by the counslor, there are always warning signs, which is also what she testified to during a trial. She states that no one just blows up and decides to hurt a child. I know she works for DFS, so if that is the case why weren't the other mothers charged. They were in house when it happened and according to her and the prosecutor, there are always signs.
